GIS/Next Gen E-911 Field Technician

• Performed GIS updates in the field for the Next Generation E-911 emergency response system implemented to all towns located within Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth Counties. 
• The task of updating the address information contained within the Mass GIS departments' improved the validity of the State of Massachusetts E-911 master address database. 
• While in the field, I performed spatial editing in the field using a handheld tablet and edited data related to emergency service zones, streets, street names, creating new address points, structures and digitizing new construction plans (As-built plans). 
• Linked the new construction as-built plans for any new sub-divisions found in the field that was not found in the State's master database.  Also utilized each town's assessors data, including Vision data sheets.
